LED stands for Light-Emitting Diode is a semiconductor device that emits visible light when an electrical current passes through it. It is essentially the opposite of a photovoltaic cell (a device that converts visible light into electrical current). LED lights are the latest technology in energy efficient lighting. LED lights are super energy efficient, using approximately 85% less energy than halogen or incandescent lighting – meaning significant savings on your power bills. LED lights also have a much longer lifespan than other types of lighting - see the table below.

SPOT LIGHT

The Spot lighting is nothing but, a lamp projecting a narrow, intense beam of light directly on to a place or person, especially a performer on stage. Fitting LED spotlights into any ceiling or recessed area can provide a tailored lighting effect which will be unique . LED spotlights provide a discreet, good and even light across in any restricted area and give a feeling of space and depth.

FLOOD LIGHT

Flood lights are the most popular type of lights that are used outdoors. Basically, flood lights are used to illuminate large areas. The definition of flood light could be – lighting fixture that is mostly used for outdoor application to illuminate larger areas at night. What makes flood lights so popular is the large amount of lighting they can produce, which is perfect for illuminating large areas

STREET LIGHT

Street lighting is more than just a technical requirement, a security need, or a design element. Its primary purpose is nighttime visibility for security and safety by users of the street. In addition to the technical criterion of the lights themselves, the distribution of light posts along the street can have a dramatic effect on the nature of the street and its secondary uses.

DOWNLIGHT

A down light can be defined as a light that has been recessed into a ceiling and that throws light downwards in a narrow beam. When it is turned on, it looks like light is shining down out of the ceiling. Down lights are comprised of a housing that is inset into the ceiling, the bulb, and a transformer (if necessary) in order to convert the power voltage into one that is safe for the down light to use.
